About the role

This site-based role is responsible for developing and driving a continuous improvement culture and mindset throughout the contract. A core function of the position is to assess, monitor, and enhance how we deliver work for our client, standardise reporting methodology and assist in identifying and recommending process/system improvements sitewide and is responsible for supporting our culture of health, safety, and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to\:

  • Establishing functional relationships with all stakeholders to enable efficient deployment of a sustainable CI program
  • Input into strategic business improvement plan aligned to division priority delivering efficiencies and continual improvement
  • Lead the development and implementation of a culture of continuous improvement in the execution of the contract
  • Work closely with senior UGL management and site personnel and client representatives to align service delivery with customer expectations and UGL management system requirement
  • Conduct Customer Satisfaction Surveys to establish client needs and expectation
  • Analyse existing work execution process, procedures and practices to identify shortfalls and client concerns
  • Develop work process enhancement strategies, train, mentor and guide team members in new processes

About You

You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create environments where great ideas are heard and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally, you will have\:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in related discipline or similar studies in business administration, process management, operations, quality management and/or business improvement techniques. (preferred)
  • Project improvements training such as Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (preferred)
  • Ability to contribute to a high-performing team
  • Experience in handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
