Based in Henderson NZ, this role provides you the opportunity to build your career while being exposed Ventia’s diverse Transport contracts.

Hourly Rate (dependent on experience): $25.00 - $35.00p/h

What you’ll be doing

  • Pothole repairs & edge repairs
  • Unsealed road grading activities
  • Road shoulder repairs and maintenance
  • Traffic management set up and monitoring
  • You will join the Dig-out crews working throughout Henderson and the broader Auckland West regions
  • Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific jobs

What you need

  • Valid and current, full Class 1 driver’s license
  • RTW or WTR license
  • Class 4-5 for truck drivers
  • Confident with a range of hand tools and motorised small tools
  • Desired experience in road maintenance (e.g. Dig Outs, Mill & Fill and other pavement treatments, asphalt placing, kerbing, drainage, etc)
  • Be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors
  • Strong commitment to all Health and Safety practices
