The Role
To be responsible for the maintenance of the Department of Transport marine assets, including but not limited to Jetties, wharfs, boat ramps, offices, and ablution blocks.


  • Ensure all safety and quality documents are completed as required
  • Report all incidents
  • Engage in promoted better ways and drive innovation
  • Work over water as required
  • Drive a culture of delivering customer and shareholder value
  • Carry out all work activities upholding the company values of Integrity, ingenuity, Collaboration and Challenge.
  • Actively participate in the Performance and Development Review process.

About You

  • Relevant Trade certification in carpentry or a related discipline (Required)
  • Experience in heavy framing and general maintenance
  • High risk forklift certification (Required)
  • Working at heights certification (Desirable)
  • Current LR Drivers License or Higher (Required)
  • Ability to learn and use Software as necessary
  • Coxswain’s Certification (Desirable)
