About the role

We have an opportunity to join the Ventia team as our Site Operations Manager on our longstanding partnership with Botany Industrial Park.

This position will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of the site as well as safety of our wide and diverse workforce.

You will lead our team to ensure productivity and efficiency for projects, maintenance works and plant shutdowns across the site with full P&L responsibility and be accountable for delivering on operational outcomes and projects for the portfolio.

We put safety first, deliver for our clients, champion diversity and find sustainable solutions that better our communities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building our client relationship as a partner via expectational delivery of operational outcomes.
  • Leadership and accountability for site operations.
  • Management of a team including functional support reports. Finance, Commercial, SHEQ and others.
  • Safety accountability and leadership.
  • Portfolio growth through continued performance in the Project Services team.
  • Demonstrated track record of working in a Matrix Organisation.

About you

  • Proven leadership of a complex heavy industrial site.
  • Well-developed knowledge of asset management and leading operational teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with management of a P&L including growth.
  • Experience or qualifications within relevant discipline, business, or engineering etc.
  • Proven commercial acumen.
