The Role
Ventia is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Utility to perform hospitality & kitchen duties in the Mess and Bar areas. This is a causal position based supporting Defence Bases in the Tindal/Katherine region. We can offer flexiable rosters that will see you working shifts over a seven-day roster working between 0600 – 1930.
Specific requirements of the role will include:
- Meeting and Greeting Defence Personal
- Cash Handling/EFTPOS use
- Washing crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment at the end of each shift.
- Ensure all packaged and/or perishable items (such as bread, milk etc.) are checked for best/ used by dates prior to service.
- Cleaning of the premises and equipment.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service is exercised at all times.
- Assisting with restock, stock rotation, loading and unloading supplies, stores and equipment.
- Assisting with stock take and inventory control for all Kitchen supplies.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent Customer Service
- Driver’s License and own transport
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to use online rostering systems

You must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Resident the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these position as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check
