About Ventia
Ventia provide Hard and Soft Facilities Maintenance services including village maintenance and accommodation to a number of Anglo American sites across the Bowen Basin.
Ventia's Electricial position based in Moranbah, is responsible for providing electrical repairs & maintenance to Anglo American buildings, housing and plant & equipment in the mine site camp. Electricians work a 8 day on /6 day off, drive in, drive out roster with meals and accommodation provided while on site. The full-time salary for the role is $112,644.67 plus superannuation, annual leave and sick leave are also accrued.,
About the Role
- Repairs and maintenance of electrical wires and light fittings
- Fault finding, reactive repairs and refurbishment works
- Represent the company in a professional manner whilst performing quality workmanship
- Effectively communicate with customers to support other trades people
- Complete all related paperwork as necessary in a timely manner
- Compliance with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures
What we’re looking for
- A Grade Electrical License (Gas would be highly beneficial)
- Minimum 3 – 5 years post trade experience in a Mining/Commercial/Industrial environment
- Certificate 3 in Electrotechnology
- Drivers License & own transport to drive to site
- White Card
- Previous experience working in a building maintenance position involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules.
- Good understanding of contractual relationships and what is required to successful fulfil obligations.
- An understanding and commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification
