About the role

As the Maintenance Scheduler, you will be responsible for the day to day scheduling of work orders using the Oracle JDE platform for the planned maintenance activities of all Viva Energy assets across Southern Region.

This role requires a thorough understanding of asset management goals and techniques combined with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Ownership, development and improvement of maintenance scheduling systems within the southern region
      • Process daily corrective work order requests and follow up with relevant site personnel where required
        • Create purchase requisitions for parts and services for reactive (unplanned) work orders
          • Collate data and develop standard reports to share with site personnel (e.g. monthly look ahead, outstanding and12-month look ahead).
            • Collate data and develop non-standard reports on request from site personnel (e.g. Equipment information, Maintenance Plans, Safety critical list and past period spent on different maintenance types).
              • Coordinate planned and amend existing work orders (e.g. purchase orders and extensions).
                • Conduct monthly planning meetings
                  • Assist with creation of asset forms for new or demolished equipment
                    • Collate fire systems related work data and liaise with external provider
                      • Assist site personnel with queries related to JDE / Work packs as a first point of contact and escalate the issues to relevant internal stakeholders
                        • Create Major Maintenance work requests for year ahead
                          • Complete/Assist Asset Management site audits
                            • Assist in yearly site budget preparation
                              • Assist the Viva Energy R&I site strategy reviews and closing actions
                                • Assist with training of site personnel on systems

                                Skills and Experience:

                                This role requires an individual who is passionate and energetic about asset management to ensure compliance with Viva Energy strategies and plans are achieved. You will love coaching others in asset management practices, driving a culture of continual improvement and compliance. You will be technically minded with experience in maintenance co-ordination, turnaround planning, project scheduling or operations.
