As a Project Leader, you’re the person who manages relationships with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and co-workers across the region’s water and wastewater infrastructure. Reporting to the Project’s Delivery Team Leader, you will lead and participate on capital and non-capital project delivery for our assets and operational works to ensure deliverables are on time, to budget and within standards.

What the role will involve:

  • End to end project management of all project phases from activation to handover & closeout
  • Coordinate project design including the engagement and management of design consultants
  • Build and manage strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate, establish & manage contracts to procure services, equipment and works
  • Contractor Management
  • Coordinate & monitor construction and commissioning works

Key skills and experience:

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with a solid project management background in the engineering or construction field or you might come from a Trades background.

In addition, you may have experience with

  • Tendering and contract award processes
  • Contractor Management
  • Construction experience including quality & HSE site inspections
  • Contract administration processes
  • Stakeholder management
