TL - Planning Scheduling

  • Newly created fixed term leadership opportunity to 30th June 2023 – team based across Woodman point, Kwinana and Kelmscott and are across multiple functions of work management
  • Salary starts at $104k plus 10.5% super, based out of Osborne Park

About the role:

You will lead the short-term maintenance planning and scheduling function of the designated assets, ensuring the systems, applications, tools, work planning, and scheduling supports work force productivity targets and maintenance execution work quality. You will contribute to the creation of successful, safe and balanced work plans and schedules for a rolling 4-week period working with the Operations and Maintenance team

What the role will involve:

  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing planning and scheduling team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvement to the systems and processes.
  • Manage relationships, provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and support to planning and scheduling staff as part of an integrated team.
  • Lead the risk rating assessment process across O&M to ensure all High and Moderate risk tasks are appropriately identified
  • Support in the work program build process to ensure activities and resources are balanced and level based on operational requirements.
  • Collaborate on the identification and development of work plans to capture Maintenance & Operational tasks effectively.
  • Ensure productivity utilisation within schedules to support the business to efficiently deliver the work program.

Key skills and experience:

  • You will be trade qualified in mechanical fitting or instrumentation. If you don’t have either, we can consider a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • You will be well experienced in field work scheduling, planning or management in a large infrastructure-based service organisation
  • You will bring some experience prior leadership experience preferably leading a multi-disciplinary team. If not, then your openness to develop as leader should be clearly expressed.
  • As you will be required to drive from site to site, a C Class licence is essential for this role
