About the role

We have a Fixed Term contract for a Specialist - Asset Management System & Risk . You will lead strategic projects and provide advice to support asset investment decisions across the Corporation’s extensive asset base. This role will be based in our Leederville office reporting to the Manager – Asset Management System & Risk.

What the role will involve

  • Lead the development of asset management strategies by collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Provide technical advice related to asset management and/or asset risk
  • Support asset management and/or asset risk governance processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure the asset management and/or risk assessment tools meet the requirements of the business and are implemented effectively
  • Contribute to the development of the overall asset investment decision framework to achieve an effective balance between cost, risk and level of service to customers

Key skills and experience

You will be degree qualified in a science, engineering or a similar discipline, along with experience in asset management, risk or strategy. Experience in development and implementation of strategic initiatives will be required, along with demonstrated experience with complex analyses, with the ability to distil information and adapt it to suit requirements of different audiences. Your excellent stakeholder management skills working with operational staff to senior management will ensure success in this role.
