Effective asset management decision-making is reliant upon the collection and availability of appropriate asset performance information to determine whether a desired level of service is being achieved. The Senior Advisor will play a vital role drawing on available asset performance data and undertaking trend analysis to determine how well we are performing against our corporate targets.

The Senior Advisor will also support our demand forecasting team. Demand analysis is a critical business function for Water Corporation to ensure we can anticipate and plan for future demand for water and wastewater services. As the Senior Advisor, you will provide support to the demand forecasting team to analyse and report current and future demand and understand the data inputs and assumptions that underpin each forecast.

What the role will involve

          Key skills and experience

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with awareness of fundamental asset management principles. Ideally you have experience monitoring and analysing asset performance and health measures and interpreting the information using trend and statistical analyses, as well as identifying and resolving discrepancies. Your previous experience working with databases and performance dashboards such as Power BI would be an advantage.

Your ability to build trust with technical experts and internal stakeholders will be important in this role, along with demonstrated experience working independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances.
