The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the team, this is a truly unique opportunity to be involved in building DS and ML capabilities from the ground up, experimenting and creating better outcomes for our clients.

A typical day would involve:

  • Understanding the advertising business and Cartlogy Clients’ needs and developing ML models that can address clients ad measurement needs. Provide recommendations to clients and the business on advertising optimisations that can improve campaign results.
  • Understand business context, scope work and provide realistic delivery timelines meeting business objectives. Translate analytics and model outputs into business recommendations and simplify to make it actionable.
  • Develop models to measure ad campaign uplifts, client impact and performance.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end model development lifecycle implementation within the advertising domain including, articulating the business problem, data profiling, data cleansing/management, feature engineering, model training & validation, and model deployment
  • Develop, maintain and govern machine learning techniques (supervised and unsupervised) to model customer journeys, media behaviour and media preferences. Leverage structured and unstructured data sets to answer business and clients problems

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist, with a demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

In addition:

  • 5+ years of hand-on analytics experience (developing models, feature engineering)
  • 7+ years experience in Python (or R) and SQL
  • Demonstrable experience in using SQL for advanced analytics
  • Demonstrable expertise in Tableau or other data visualisation tools
  • Business degree/qualification in Mathematics; Statistics; Data Science; Computer Science or Similar
