About the role
In this role, you will develop software for mobile products on the iOS Development platform. You’ll continually drive delivery and continuous product improvement. You will be joining our cross functional, platform focused mobile team at Xero. We are a tightly knit team that is passionate about what we deliver. We engage fully in our product at the research, discovery, prototyping, implementation and end of life phases. We see ourselves as the foundation that our product teams build upon.

This role can be based in Auckland, Wellington or NZ remote.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with team members to prototype, build and test high-quality apps using SwiftUI
  • Operate as part of our team to prototype, build, and uphold platform and application layer tooling to support product teams
  • Identify opportunities in current technology/architecture and recommend solutions.
  • Providing constructive input into architectural decisions for new features.
  • Providing technical guidance to other developers.
  • Staying up to date with iOS mobile development technologies, and identify and promote opportunities to make use of these technologies within the mobile team.
