About the role:

As a Business Analyst for Superannuation you will be a critical member of the team, tasked with working collaboratively to make it easier for small business owners to pay Superannuation correctly, efficiently and on-time. You bring deep customer empathy, product expertise and Superannuation domain knowledge into the heart of new product development. You will provide excellent business analysis. Elicit detailed product requirements and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Product Managers and delivery teams to define solutions.

You will be a key subject matter expert on Superannuation - the legislative and business rules we operate within, and how our product works.
Work closely with Xero’s third party Superannuation technology partner to ensure the integration meets the customer and business needs and create clear and concise user stories and documentation that supports progress whilst building a reference point for the future.

What you'll do:

  • Perform detailed business analysis to support the creation of product solutions
  • Create high quality user stories and acceptance criteria that ensure customer, business and regulatory needs are accurately translated into achievable customer-centered software development activities
  • Provide subject matter expertise around Superannuation/Payment workflows, business rules, customer needs and regulatory requirements throughout the product development process, product launch and ongoing lifecycle management
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of quality epics and user stories for a given solution and for individual development sprints
  • Support Product during incident management situations, providing subject matter expertise to ensure that customer-impacting incidents are resolved quickly and with minimal impact, working with delivery teams on resolution and ensuring that internal and external communications are accurate
  • Participate in & help lead the product discovery process - new idea capture and validation, including workshop and collaborative facilitation

  • Minimum three years working as a Business Analyst in Agile software development environments
