About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Transmission Lineworker to be based out of our Rowville depot.
The primary purpose of this role is to undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity transmission networks by the safe and effective operation of associated plant and equipment, along with the below:
- Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
- Climbing of transmission structures
- Undertake maintenance inspections of electricity transmission networks in accordance with Client/Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
- Undertake minor ancillary works as required
- Work away depending on project requirements
- Hold a Certificate III ESI in Transmission Overhead
- Construction White Card
- Work at Heights Rescue
- CPR trained desirable
- Dogging & Rigging High Risk Work Licence preferred
- Demonstrated ability to recognise and solve problems in the workplace
- Willing to travel
- Proven ability to work productively as part of a team, in a fast paced and changing workplace
The selected candidate will have the ability to learn and develop policies and procedures while being able to consistently meet deadlines. With highly developed written and verbal communication skills, this person will also be analytical, conceptual and have strong problem solving capability as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
