About the role

Join one of our high performing Life Insurance claims teams and challenge yourself to provide our customers with an outstanding service as you manage the claims process in a sensitive and professional way.

As a Senior Retail Claims Consultant, you’ll be responsible for supervising and mentoring claims consultants, while developing and enhancing their skills and capabilities. You will also manage your own portfolio of medium to high-risk claims. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will stand you in good stead as you settle cases within your limits of authority.

Important to your success

  • Previous experience managing Retail Life Insurance claims, specifically Income Protection.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical, legal, product and regulatory issues within the Life Insurance industry.
  • Previous experience providing mentoring and coaching.
