About the role

As the NSW Broker Relationship Leader reporting to the Regional Manager NSW /ACT, the primary objective of this role is to develop a strategic trading relationship with a designated panel of NSW top tiers of brokers with a focus on establishing & maintaining strong broker relationships, developing sound business development strategies and managing the sales process & pipeline.

The role requires driving accountability within the Underwriting community both SME and Commercial, driving and owning the trading relationship, whilst fostering a multi tier relationship across all levels in both organisations and all lines of business.

Important to your success

  • ANZIIF CIP member or equivalent
  • Operational Management Experience
  • 2 –5 years industry experience in a related role
  • Tier 1 – RG 146 (preferred)
  • Commercially astute with a comprehensive understanding of the General Insurance industry and the products available
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability in relationship/strategic selling (preferably within the insurance industry)
