Your new role

This position sits within the sider Portfolio Oversight team. You will be a contributor, and at times, lead activities, to support Portfolio Oversight responsibilities. The team is responsible for monitoring accuracy of ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) for all portfolios, actively manage regulatory obligations and establish processes to monitor key investment portfolio activity. This role also supports and enables efficient implementation activity for proposed transactions and contributes to the crediting rate processes.

The person in this role will be a subject matter expert in private market investment administration. You will assist in the development of processes for managing lifecycle events (calls, distributions, restructures, revaluations etc) for private market assets. While also coordinating the data and reporting required to monitor the assets within the portfolio.

What you'll need

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or commerce.
  • Professional membership or working towards (CFA, CPA, CA) is highly desired.
  • 2 + years' experience in Corporate finance, M&A, valuations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial markets and investment operations.
  • Strong understanding of custodian, fund accounting and unit pricing processes.
  • Advanced use of MS Office products and investment systems.
