American Express Global Commercial Services is the leading provider of Corporate Card Programs, Supplier Payments Solutions and other expense management tools that help mid-size companies and large corporations around the world manage almost all the facets of their business spending.
The Global Business Transformation team (BT) partners with the Segment and Product Owners and their Leadership teams to scope and drive projects which deliver a combination of process improvement, revenue enhancement and cost optimization. The role will form part of a highly visible team. The Business Transformation Manager will join a highly visible team that will be delivering approximately $100M of net new PTI over the coming 3 years across international.
The role will report to the Director BT (EMEA) and will be a core contributor to a team of skilled Transformation practitioners that deliver highly impactful scaled business transformation initiatives which drive direct P&L benefit to meet the regional EMEA BT goal.
Partnering with the Regional General Managers and their Leadership Teams on challenging the status quo to successfully scope potential revenue enhancement, cost reduction or process improvement opportunities
Provide project leadership to cross functional teams and effectively utilize project management techniques to organize, plan and execute initiatives while meeting or exceeding timelines
Own EMEA revenue/PTI targets associated with identified initiatives
Help develop strategies for improving revenue and margins and overall business performance through internal and external analysis
Provide consultative advice and support to drive change management initiatives and associated communication programs
Work closely with the regions to analyze, develop, implement, validate and track identified benefits and provide project reporting where required.
Identify, innovate, and execute transformational new business development opportunities
This Manager will lead EMEA / Global Initiatives and will be a key relationship leader in the region for Business Transformation.

Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills, including the ability to influence positive outcomes and develop strong partnership/relationship with key business units across all levels of the organization.
Excellent project/process management and prioritization skills. Results focused
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and information to proficiently produce meaningful conclusions and recommendations
Strong financial acumen, practical experience/familiarity with P&L
Familiarity with product development/enhancement process
Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills.
University degree or equivalent experience preferred
