We currently have several roles as Advanced Planning System (APS) Design and Capability Lead with focus in one of seven areas: Inventory, Finance and S&OP, Reporting and Analytics, Distribution Requirements Planning, Supply Planning & Scheduling, MRP, or External Supply.

The APS Design and Capability Lead will be responsible for the design and delivery of the new APS operating model (process and system) for their area utilising the OMP platform.

What you’ll do

As Design and Capability Lead, you will partner with the Global Business Process Owner and Regional Deployment leads to ensure global and local business standards are met via the functional OMP solution for their area. You will lead the preparation of the ‘Ways of Working’ and 'how to' guides that will support both the training and ongoing use of OMP that forms the backbone of the knowledge management system to support the business.

Typical accountabilities:

  • Designing and developing the future state processes as part of the process workstream for their specified area.

  • Translating the processes into the respective functional design of the OMP platform for their specified area (Inventory, Finance and S&OP, Reporting & Analytics, Distribution Requirement Planning, Supply & Scheduling, MRP, External Supply)

  • Feedbacking and aligning on any process changes required to support the design of the OMP platform.

  • Leading the creation and build of the user stories in support focused business outcomes.

  • Working with the systems capability and integration workstream in cooperation with the software vendor (OMP) to ensure the user stories are reflected in the configuration of the OMP platform.

  • Validating against the user stories the functionality and developing their OMP knowledge by leading and performing the testing for their area.

Essential requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience in a planning role in Pharma, CPG, FMCG or Electronics (Pharma desirable)

  • Robust knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes

Desirable requirements

  • APICs Certification

  • Lean / Six sigma (Green Belt)

  • Ability to influence without authority and drive change

  • Experience in design, build, and use of Planning systems (APS: OMP, Kinaxis, o9, SAP IBP desirable)

  • Self-starter with ability to learn

  • Able to explain complexity in simple language that everyone understands
