As an Associate Process Leader you'll be positioned to work alongside existing Process Leaders (Line Managers) to gain proficiency in manufacturing processes (i.e. formulation, manufacturing, filling, packaging, labelling, logistics and supply chain processes). You'll also gain experience of supporting processes such as investigation management and implementation of Manufacturing Excellence.
Working in a highly regulated environment you will understand relevant policies, procedures, laws, regulations and codes of business. You will ensure that they are adhered to both personally and by those you will work with.
Whilst you will not lead large teams directly, you will have the opportunity in this role to develop your knowledge and experience in line management, mentoring and developing people.
Responsible for driving the day-to-day performance of defined processes in terms of adherence to plan, operational standards, cost, asset, cGMP and safety (SHE).
You will develop technical proficiency in the direct production processes and the supporting areas such as completing deviations and implementing robust corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
You will enhance your understanding of Manufacturing Excellence or lean principles. This will present an opportunity to utilise the tools in practice to embed this knowledge.
With the opportunity to actively participate in local projects you will build on your project skills and network with new contacts. Being highly inquisitive, you will be encouraged to seek out and deliver continuous improvement projects.
With a digital mindset, you will embrace new technology using a variety of digital platforms to improve performance
- A Science/Engineering degree, or equivalent academic/practical work experience
- Experience of working within a highly compliant or cGMP environment in either an Operational/Manufacturing or Laboratory based role
- Passionate about developing coaching and leadership skills
- Passion for continuous improvement and problem solving
There will be a requirement to work shifts as part of the opportunity that will be discussed at the interview stage.
