It will bring AstraZeneca UK closer to our customers, partners and collaborators in the UK’s healthcare environment, as well as foster greater collaboration with the wider AstraZeneca footprint.

What you’ll do

This position will be responsible for the Payer strategy for our Respiratory portfolio. This position will liaise with Regional Healthcare Managers to work with NHS Payers, using data and evidence of the clinical benefits, cost implications and health outcomes of AstraZeneca medicines in order to facilitate market and patient access.

Within this post you will also develop campaigns driving the timely delivery of assets by working with cross functional teams to create engaging content in multiple formats for deployment across channels to Payers. This includes budget impact modelling, pathway modelling, service redesign, audit tools, patient review services, rebates and commercial agreements, congress presence, digital assets and third-party partnerships.

The MABM will work with Brand teams and Market Access Teams to develop Payer engagement strategies to ensure that the right content is delivered at the right time via the right channel.

The MABM will work with cross functional teams and the local market access team to ensure assets are produced compliantly and deployed through field teams and liaise with 3rd party media providers to deploy across paid media.

The MABL will have a close working relationship with the field local market access team and Regional Business Directors to ensure complete understanding of the suite of assets available and the comprehensive delivery of them, according to customer priorities and brand objectives, resulting in optimised patient access to AstraZeneca medicines.

Essential for the role

  • Local market access process knowledge and experience
  • Creative marketing capabilities together with strong commercial business sense
  • Prior experience in a Marketing and Market Access pharmaceutical company role

Desirable for the role

  • Relevant University degree
  • Diploma in Digital Marketing (DipDM)
  • Good experience of the UK market, with its unique NHS system
  • ABPI
  • First line management of Sales or Market Access teams
  • Experience in Respiratory
