What you’ll do

The Marketing Associate Director – Omnichannel role is a key position within the global TDR Franchise Marketing Team, operating across target customer groups, and reports directly into the Commercia VP. In this role, you will contribute to the brand attaining leadership among the prioritized target customers through omnichannel marketing, a deep understanding of customer needs and channel expertise.

The Marketing Associate Director TDR Franchise – Omnichannel will be deployed to integrate omnichannel marketing into brand plan and ways of working. The person in the role will be responsible for leading the creation of a holistic experience for our customers building on a deep understanding of key insights to define and deploy omnichannel communications and tactics to address customer needs and business goals. This role works within the global cross functional team and in close contact with the local teams, to present the strategy and solution and secure consensus at the GBT. This individual will co-create and lead the deployment of content strategies and materials, including building a strong supporting tactical and critical metric plan, and optimizes the omnichannel execution in the local MCs over time. This role helps generate insights to drive ongoing optimization of branded and unbranded campaigns and continual alignment of plans & strategies with brand objectives, goals and budgets.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record that enables the candidate to confidently work hand-in-hand with cross-functional internal and external teams to develop and implement research and insight driven omnichannel strategies, creating an optimal customer experience while supporting business goals. This role requires a candidate with demonstrable experience designing marketing strategy, within both digital and non-digital channels, with a clear knowledge of integrated omnichannel ecosystems, to compliment all areas of potential engagement with HCPs.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the following:

Strategy & Execution

  • Contributes to defining vision, strategy and implementation of an omnichannel digital marketing solution that will improve the HCP experience and support brand objectives.

  • Coordinates with HCP cross functional teams to plan and implement the omnichannel strategy across digital channels and media platforms to drive interest and demand.

  • Advances and shares omnichannel measurement plans, selecting important metrics and setting goals, targets and measurement milestones aligned to business and capability building objectives.

  • Provides strategic guidance on optimal omnichannel engagement activities to drive growth based on specific brand needs.

  • Collaborates with commercial functions, HCP and/or Consumer marketing teams, and vendor partners to identify new capabilities to optimize the user experience, expanding the omnichannel ecosystem.

  • From a marketing lens, serves as an omnichannel subject matter expert for cross-functional commercial partners, providing guidance to elevate their understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies and tactics.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Successfully develops and maintains relationships with cross functional teams including marketing and medical teams, digital and technology teams, insights & analytics teams, creative agencies, digital agencies, media agencies, and other vendor partners.

  • Remains engaged with local MC teams and key partners (internal and external) to assess the business need, identify opportunities, and implement and measure solutions.

Vendor Management

  • Successfully partners with vendors and agencies to ensure the strategy, approaches, and requirements for omnichannel execution are understood and interpreted appropriately for quality delivery and execution.

  • Extracts & analyses data, develops insights, and makes optimization recommendations to business partners.

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

  • Marketing experience, with an emphasis on digital marketing and execution, in a highly regulated environment

  • Depth of experience with digital platforms, including multi and omnichannel campaigns

  • Successful projective management experience managing complex projects, advising stakeholders and effectively influencing and working across stakeholders, business partners and peers is critical

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when presenting

  • Creative, agile thinker and learner who can bring forward solutions to innovate around HCP and consumer engagement and technology solutions

  • Strong learning agility

  • Leadership experience and team management skills (direct or indirect)

  • Strong financial skill, with the ability to assess and get results

Desirable for the role

  • Advanced Degree - Masters or MBA

  • Pharma and/or healthcare industry experience

  • Solid understanding of the local healthcare system pricing and reimbursement
