What you’ll do

The IT infrastructure Project Manager will lead several projects some of which may be in flight, some from initiation to close, to deliver or support delivery of effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs. This role is also required to follow established project management standards and identify possible project management capability areas for improvement. The Enterprise Technology Services Delivery Team are accountable for the delivery of a variety of IT, Facilities Management and Building Management existing services as well as the implementation of new solutions to our global customer base, both internally within ETS but also to our Business Technology Groups.

  • Aligned to the Global Footprint and Infrastructure Delivery Team who are responsible for leading projects to deliver efficient IT capabilities across the Global business.
  • Project handles the delivery of extraordinary audio-visual, videoconferencing, desktop workstation and telephony capabilities into both new and rapidly growing facilities in conjunction with AZ’s delivery partners.
  • Project Handle the delivery and refresh of WAN/LAN and Cloud capabilities across the Global estate
  • Coordinate Design Consultancy requests for Network and Infrastructure
  • Handle project / programmer budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, organizational change, and status to support effective decisions and project reporting to collaborators and review boards.
  • Manage relationships with business collaborators to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and dedication to project/program objective

Essential for the role

  • Experience of leading projects to deliver end-user IT capabilities and network infrastructure into working environments (AV-VC, Workstations, telecoms)
  • Experience in an Information Services/Information Technology environment
  • Experience handling and delivering around multiple conflicting priorities
  • Good project management skills
  • Detailed planner
  • Ability to operate in a sophisticated, fast paced, and ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong networking and team working skills
  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
  • Self-starter who has the ability to get going quickly with minimal support
  • Capability and desire for continuous self-development

Desirable for the role

  • Project / Programmer Management certifications
  • Experience working in a global organization where collaborators and project team members are geographically dispersed
  • Agile, Lean & Six Sigma Skills
