What you'll do
The External Engagement Manager (EEM) will support the delivery of a comprehensive external engagement strategy for AstraZeneca UK across Vaccines and Immune Therapies. The role will deliver the V&I Business Unit’s engagement strategy with selected and agreed Key External Experts and organisations (clinical, scientific and strategic service delivery pathways).
In this role, the External Engagement Manager will develop key working relationships with the Sales, Marketing, and Medical function to develop and implement a connected V&I engagement strategy across COVID, RSV, Influenza and our future pipeline. In addition, the EEM will be responsible for designing and agreeing on the tracking of deliverables and feeding forward proactively to optimise the resource and activity investments involved in advocacy, both scientific and sharing of best clinical practice, meetings programmes and congress activity and responsible for the selection of activities in line with all strategic brand plans for all V&I brands.

Minimum requirements for this role
- Significant experience in sales or marketing
- Degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrable track record of highly successful and consistent commercial delivery
- Track record of strong working relationships with external stakeholders, including KEEs from across the full range of the MDT.
- Demonstrated success in managing, executing and reviewing the impact of complex projects, including digital initiatives.
- Experience delivering desired results in a complex environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Effective matrix leadership experience.
