The Role:

The Global Commercial Head Hematology is a foundational role for our ambitious Hematology entry and expansion – a field that comes with highly diverse and significant scientific and commercial opportunity. We are determined to create a leading Hematology franchise in the years ahead, driving successful worldwide access and commercialization for our leading medicine, and creating a long term strategy towards a diversified Hematology portfolio.

As a key contributor to future growth we seek dedicated global commercial leadership to successfully shape and mobilize a young organization across functions and markets, maximizing the global potential of the brand, and delivering commercial excellence in the strategic planning for future portfolio in close collaboration with our partners at Research and Development.

Your main Accountabilities and tasks:

  • Full commercial accountability for new haematology asset, from PhII / PhIII Investment decision (accountable for business case) to launch and commercial performance

  • Lead commercial strategy across assets for Lymphoma

  • Core member of GPT and leads commercial representation at GPT

  • Works collaboratively across multiple leadership levels, core functions, and geographies to deliver on best-in-class strategic plans and to support local implementation.

  • Accountable for developing and managing a team of Global Brand Directors

  • Accountable for leading the cross-functional Brand team to deliver the tumor type strategy.

Your education, knowledge and experience

  • Undergraduate scientific background

  • Medical and/or PhD / MBA desired

  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of Haematology

  • Experience in Haematology marketing, preferably at global and regional/local level

  • Broad commercial experience including product launch

  • Experience of working with R&D to shape PhIII trial design. Proven track record of successful product development based on strong science, commercial insights, market research and competitive intelligence

  • Track record of developing strong brand strategies, identifying key brand insights, and delivering high impact customer facing/shaping initiatives

  • Effective cross- functional project team leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills

  • Strong leadership attributes to inspire and build alignment across markets

  • Strong understanding of Clinical Development in Oncology (desired)

  • Experience in R&D (desired)
