This is what you’ll do
As part of our ground-breaking journey in Enterprise Data & AI, the Citizen Data Science team seeks to redefine AI tooling within AstraZeneca. This is done by provisioning a scalable, accessible, and robust platform for all users, and upskilling the enterprise via boot camps, webinars, and communities of practice.
As the Business Analyst, you will:
Plan & Capture, and Prioritise Business Requirements for platform improvements and proof of concept projects that utilise the platform, maintaining a prioritised and fully refined backlog for the same
Assess and recommend Dataiku as a solution, articulating how it will be used, by whom and the business value for collaborators
Take responsibility for E2E delivery of requirements management and communication with customers, collaborating closely with business and technical team members to deliver a solution that meets/exceeds collaborator expectations
Connect with customers and users, sharing trade-offs for platform usage and articulating the business benefits and impact of the CDS platform
Build a community of practice from the userbase, including running exclusive events, drop-in sessions, and symposiums
Depending on project requirements, the role may include additional responsibilities e.g. acting as the proxy product owner
Essential key skills are:
Analytical – you will be able to gather requirements, analyse sophisticated datasets and translate those into significant information understood by both business and technical teams
Agile approach – Strong focus on scope, priorities, and deadlines- understanding what needs to be done and when to make delivery happen
Hands on. Take personal responsibility for delivery collaborating effectively with the project team and partners
Business proven experience – develop a deep knowledge in how the business area operates, its processes, key users and value the solution brings
Technical domain knowledge – develop a deep knowledge of the data, the strategy of the Operations Data Hub (ODH 2.0) and its associated components to recommend build and delivery options
Collaborator management – plan, lead and facilitate sessions. Seek to meet /exceed expectations when presenting on delivery e.g. architecture review boards, product demos, agile ceremonies
Supporting other team members delivery in a matrix organization/project environment
Desirable Skills for candidates to demonstrate
Validated knowledge of data analytic and machine learning tools such as Dataiku & AWS Sage maker
A background in communications and community-building
