Test Manager

As a client-facing Test Manager, you will have the opportunity to learn our clients’ business, their organization, systems, challenges, and goals. You will be working alongside architects, developers and DevOps engineers, responsible for ensuring the code can be trusted and lead testing in both manual and automated test development.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • monitor that system tests are completed and documented successfully and that all problems are corrected, repeating the cycle until the application under test reaches the desired level of acceptance.
  • Mentor junior testers
  • Work in a Microsoft ecosystem with cutting edge technologies
  • QA activities relating to the full development lifecycle
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business requirements, creating test cases, frameworks, and script libraries, and tracking bugs
  • Manual and automated testing
  • Working with and organizing onshore and off-shore teams, ensuring successful communication and collaboration.

Experience of the following:

  • Solid background in testing and QA: design, planning, creation, execution, and reporting
  • Development of tailored automation frameworks, test harnesses, scripts, and environments
  • Development and deployment of automation tools.
  • Use your knowledge and experience to identify best-fit tools, and techniques for effective testing: e.g. scrum goals/sprints, smoke tests, integration tests, regression tests.
  • Experience with test automation/test management tools: e.g. Selenium. JIRA, DevOps
  • Experience with test automation frameworks e.g. keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid
  • Defect Management process including: recording, reporting and retesting.
  • Automated testing by the combination of API and Automated GUI test environments.
  • Good understanding of development methodologies and how the test lifecycle fits in
  • Experience in Microsoft Technologies and platforms.
  • Test Planning, Test Strategy Generation, Design, Implementation and Documentation of Manual and Automated Tests.
  • Team Leadership - Mentor team members on test automation best practices and tools.
  • Leading onshore / offshore teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
