PROJECT LEADER – SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Salary: Competitive

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working alongside Project Management colleagues to deliver supplier improvement activities
  • Reporting, analysing & presenting data using excel & PowerPoint
  • Working with suppliers to drive improvement
  • Supporting Coaching/ Training activities within the supplier’s business

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Understanding of operational planning
  • Supplier improvement experience
  • Proven experience working on a major project
  • Commercial experience is desirable

Desirable:

  • Lean & Six Sigma knowledge/ experience

The Supply Chain team:

Working as part of the Supply Chain function, alongside the Procurement team, you will be aligned to a UK based supplier for a period of time to support improvement. Once the improvement has been implemented successfully you will then move to support an alternative supplier.
