Job Title: Head of Security – Head Office

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Salary: £80,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

Security Operations:

● Analyse and assess the threats and assess security risks to Head Office and Functions.

● Formulate the Head Office Security Concept of Operations, for agreement by Group Security Director

● Formulate Head Office local security policies

● Co-ordinate the effective management of Head Office security incidents and breaches across using common processes, tools and collaboration with other security stakeholders including Cyber Security

● Collaborate with SHE Director on Duty of Care and Safety of Staff initiatives

● Support the Group Security Director as 2nd/3rd line CMT support in crisis and/or significant incidents

● Assess, plan and coordinate executive protection personal security for Chairman, CEO and Executive Committee and Board as required

Event Security:

● Manage and co-ordinate the security provision for critical company events such as the Annual General Meeting, Farnborough International Air-Show (FIAS) and Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI)

● Manage and co-ordinate effective standards and practises for the management of security at company events globally

Security Governance/Assurance:

● Support the Group Security Director with the development of security strategy/policy

● Provide SME input, technical and resource support to the Group Security assurance programme

● Provide support to the Group Security Director / Deputy Director of Security for any other activities deemed necessary to perform the role

Your skills and experiences:

● Previous experience of leading security operations in industry or defence/security public sector role

● Previous experience managing the physical/personnel security of a business unit, company division or major site

● Previous experience in managing and conducting security compliance audits and risk assessments within the defence industry or associated industries

● In-depth knowledge of HMG and industry standard security policy, standards, good practice guidance and processing of protectively marked information

● Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a security related discipline

● Qualified / certified by security professional body or bodies (e.g., ASIS CPP and ISACA/ISC2)

The Group Security team:
