Job title: Project Manager

Location: Broadoak, Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements for this role but whilst the role will Primarily be Portsmouth based, there will be the opportunity/requirement to visit the Middle East a number of weeks per year.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • To lead on the Modification Projects and their delivery in Saudi Arabia
  • To oversee all current business including the bidding and development of new projects and future modifications for The Royal Saudi Naval Force Mine Hunter fleet
  • To support the integration of the Maritime Services and Saudi Arabian operating model to deliver operational efficiencies and cost savings across the business
  • To ensure modification programmes are fully supported by embedded resources that are capable of meeting the customers’ requirements

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Project Management experience of major engineering projects
  • Demonstrate a level of professional qualification – Prince 2 / APM etc.

Desirable

  • Ship repair/maritime experience
  • Experience of working with BAE Systems Saudi Arabia – Working environment/culture.

The Modifications Team

Join the team responsible for maintaining complex Warships in the Middle East and undertake a crucial role delivering into the MOD and Royal Navy. You will work with experienced project and programme managers assisting your career development with progression opportunities within BAE Systems Maritime Services and wider within BAE Systems.
