Job title: Quality Engineer

Location: Hillend

Salary: Up to £40,000 – depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing Quality Engineering support to the production line for a range of products and Projects
  • Delivering Quality Assurance (audit) activities in support of AS9100 certification
  • Supporting the Improvement aims of the organisation by being a champion for change
  • Acting as the prime QA contact for our customers QA organisations
  • Conducting data analysis and produce reports accordingly

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • You will have worked as a Quality Engineer within a Quality Assurance function
  • Knowledge and understanding of the IPC suite of Standards – specifically workmanship standards for PCB Assembly
  • Practical experience in Improvement techniques

Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory standards and 3rd party certification
  • Practical experience of Quality Assurance tools and processes, especially RCCA philosophy

The Quality team:

Working as part of a small close-knit team you will be involved in the manufacture of a very diverse product range delivering into all defence theatres – Air, Land and Sea – on behalf of numerous customers.
