Job title: Early Careers Coordinator

Salary: Circa £31,800

What you’ll be doing:

  • Co-ordinating learner registrations, progress monitoring, certifications activity and internal /external meetings, supporting with learner time keeping and attendance
  • Co-ordinating additional activities e.g. recruitment process, induction process, Outward &travel requirements and internal/external celebration events as required
  • Providing support to Early Careers delivery teams and Management with any activities as required, ensuring high standards of behaviours and delivery this can include coordination of learner pre-onboarding, induction and immersion activity
  • Analysing and updating Management Information Systems (e.g. Yeti, BKSB, Learning Assistant and Canvas) and compile reports to support the Early Careers & Skills delivery programmes
  • Raising Purchase Orders to procure goods and services as required ensuring timely completion of payments
  • Undertaking Local Safeguarding Officer duties and provide Inclusive Learning Support for apprentices as required
  • Supporting with activity including making reservations, uploading evidence and distributing correspondence for apprentice/graduate end of programme assessments
  • Conducting and supporting file audits to ensure all regulatory requirements are being adhered to and reducing the risk of non-compliance, liaising with delivery teams should any amendments be required

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience in supporting a team with a range of administrative and co-ordination activities
  • Ideally have experience of working in an Early Careers environment with an understanding Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes
  • Knowledge of legislative, awarding body and funding systems requirements, Apprenticeships and EPA requirements
  • Experience of working within training and education, conducting quality assurance audits and compliance checks with an understanding of regulatory body requirements and inspection frameworks

The Early Years Careers team:

You will be joining a team that supports the future talent and early careers provision for the Digital Intelligence part of BAE Systems. The team currently consists of the Team Manager, 2 recruiters who support the business up to and including the on-boarding stage of recruitment and 2 Advisors who support the graduates, apprentices and academy learners whilst on-programme and you will support across both of these areas. The team is dispersed in different locations across the UK and whilst remote working is a key element to this role there is an expectation you will spend time in the office as required. Although the immediate team is small you will be part of a wider community of Early Careers professionals as UK Early Careers and Skills Team.
