Job title: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Christchurch. This role requires on site attendance

Salary: £44,500 - £52,500 per annum depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Management of the project delivery, planning, monitoring, budget and schedules
  • Identification, development and effective management of stakeholder relationships
  • Accurate reporting of project status to team members, leadership and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring project and quality management processes are effectively applied
  • Supporting project quality & lifecycle management reviews
  • Managing project risks, opportunities and issues
  • Mentoring of team members, providing guidance and support

Your skills and experiences:


  • Experience within project Management techniques; leading teams and tools
  • Understanding a defined and structured lifecycle processes with formal reviews with a culture of measurement and continuous improvement
  • Experience of Strategic planning, risk management and/or change management


  • Working to quality standards and qualifications, AS9100 desirable
  • Formal Project Management Qualification
  • Working within Defence Industry

The Project Team

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager and taking a leading role in the delivery of secure Information Technology projects across the full project lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring critical outcomes for our customers are delivered effectively to time, cost and quality, alongside developing and implementing strategies to continually enhance project delivery.
