Job Title: Finance Manager European Typhoon Production

Salary: £55,000+

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading, managing and motivating a team supporting the business to deliver financial performance across European Typhoon Production contracts
  • Preparing, reviewing and challenging project Forecasts as part of an Integrated Project Team (IPT), including assumptions, risks and opportunities and simplifying complex messages to articulate performance
  • Establish with the IPT 5 Year Business Plans (Budgets) including assumptions, risks and opportunities and driving the business to deliver
  • Driving performance improvements with particular focus on accuracy of cash forecasting and delivery of cost opportunities
  • Support new business activities to enable approval of pricing proposals
  • Supporting the Finance transformation programme to optimise how we support the business

Your skills and experiences:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant - ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA
  • Evidence of driving business performance with the ability to work with cross functional stakeholders
  • The ability to adapt and change quickly and be an ambassador for the function
  • Leaderships skills to motivate individuals and teams across several business areas, to shape and implement business requirements

The Europe Typhoon Production Integrated Project team:

As part of the Europe Typhoon Production Project team, you will be responsible for providing Finance leadership to teams across the Europe and International portfolio, which covers a variety of interesting bid proposals and contracts, ranging in size, complexity, and value. You will be part of an Integrated Project Team, working alongside Commercial, Project Management and in some cases Operations and Procurement; therefore, your ability to work cross-functionally is vital. This is a true partnering role to the business in which you will add value to the delivery of contracts and new business.
