Job Title: Strategic Threat Intelligence Specialist

Location: Farnborough/Preston (Fully Remote) with Qtr. meetings on site - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £57,000 +depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will co-develop and deploy the future operating model for Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence across BAE Systems PLC
  • Understand the strategic cyber threat landscape across all of BAE Systems international operations and deliver an intelligence processing capability to make that information actionable to business stakeholders
  • Manage relationships across BAE Systems across our internal security functions and sectors, to deliver strategic cyber threat intelligence capabilities across BAE Systems global business
  • Work with BAE Systems Security Operations capabilities to integrate tactical and operational threat intelligence into the strategic intelligence capability and products
  • Manage and respond to requests for strategic threat intelligence content, and to be the centre of expertise for strategic threat intelligence across BAE Systems Head Office.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Proven work experience in the fields of cyber security or geopolitics
  • Knowledge and / or experience with core cyber security concepts
  • Knowledge and experience in modern geopolitics (through academia or through employment)
  • Excellent presentational and communication skills
  • The ability to quickly assess information and make recommendations
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Desirable:

  • Degree in Geopolitics / Bachelor or master’s degree
  • Experience delivering strategic cyber threat intelligence
  • Experience in defence industry.
