Job Title: Materials Engineer- Additive Manufacturing

Location: Samlesbury- We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to 49k dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

Production support –

  • In house manufacturing
  • Conducting Audits
  • Writing specifications – working closely with the governance team
  • They will be the person who raises the query on the spec, this is what we want to change, governance will change the specs for them

Reports on materials

  • Working very closely with governance team to answer queries
  • Reporting to external stakeholders too (producing test reports etc – external to the department with internal
  • Liaising with external material suppliers and powder companies (technical knowhow – generating the tech specs, associated properties
  • Liaising with supply chain, procurement.
  • Could be involved in qualifying the supplies

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in Additive Manufacturing

  • Experience in developing test plans

  • Experience in technical report writing
