Job Title: Assistant Financial Accountant - Statutory Reporting

Location: Glascoed

Salary:Circa £34,951 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Liaising with external auditors and various business units in preparation of statutory accounts
  • Analysis of key general ledger nominals for group tax
  • Completion of taxation packs for group tax
  • Preparation of PSA returns analysis
  • Completion of class 1A returns

Your skills and experiences:

  • Stats/tax experience -ideally previous experience preparing stats accounts
  • Understanding of how accounts are prepared
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to be independent by managing your own workload, as well as being able to work as part of a team
  • Able to Communicate information clearly
  • Analytical

Desirable:

  • Working towards professional qualification/part-qualified, e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
