Job title: Electronic Technician

Location: Warton

Salary:up to £45,326

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fault diagnosis and repair of plant and equipment. Recording details of breakdowns and repairs where necessary to facilitate further analysis
  • Support and provide details for population and communication of site asset risk register
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to result in minor/major revenue investment and projects, alongside support of project teams for business capital project investments
  • Help and support where necessary for Maintenance Electrical and Maintenance Aircraft Ground Equipment teams

Your skills and experiences:

ESSENTIALS:

  • Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with experience within a relevant electrical discipline
  • Knowledge and experience of fault finding and maintenance of machine tool/robotic technologies.
  • Experience of Siemens Solution line and Power line, Simatic, TIA / STEP7 systems as a site standard would be beneficial, alongside multiple other PLC OS standards

The Maintenance Team

We’re responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability and performance of plant and equipment, carrying out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical systems. You will work with the latest technological and innovative developments in manufacturing.
