What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide professional Project Management and be responsibility for delivery of the physical improvement (construction) works across our 4 of our 5 UK sites (Radway Green, Cheshire; Washington, Tyne and Wear; Bishopton, Glasgow; Ridsdale, Cumbria)
  • Project administration experience of NEC 3 advantageous
  • Monitor and report project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the stakeholder groups maintaining regular communications and managing expectations.
  • Proactively manage risks and opportunities to the benefit of the project.

Your skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge of a structured approach to the management of projects e.g. Prince, APM, BAE Systems LCM
  • Experience of scheduling, risk analysis and earn value management (ERM)
  • Be able to convert process and display data into an easily presentable format
  • Experience of managing complex projects and programmes

The Project Management team:

This role is highly visible and at the heart of good governance and will give you exposure to the wider BAE stakeholders including Site Operations Leads, the Munitions Senior Leadership Team, Heads of functions, Site Services and Engineering teams. Additionally, the role demands a degree of stakeholder management externally with suppliers and regulators
