Regional Build Support and Onboarding Lead - 6 mth FTC

This role is a 6 month FTC and will require 2-3 days of regional travel per week.

How can you change it up?
It takes a huge collaborative effort to bring full fibre internet to communities across the UK, and at CityFibre we know we can’t do it alone. But, with the support of our build partners, we’re well on our way to delivering our brand new, state of the art fibre-optic network.
Joining our growing mobilisation and training team, you’ll team up with build partners in your region to make sure our contractors are working to a clear, standardised set of processes. Your support will not only give them the time to execute plans, but also to grow and train their teams, ready to help us build our network.
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll be responsible for the regional delivery of each city delivery team and build partner, which means they must be fully onboarded, trained and educated on CityFibre’s processes and systems before they start. Throughout the build you’ll also stay on top of new processes, refresher training sessions and offer support to the team and build partner as the project moves.
It’s a busy role, so you’ll need to be incredibly organised and able to structure training programmes, take charge of onboarding, escalate risks and provide weekly progress reporting.
It’s also important you have:
- Extensive experience working in telecoms and civil infrastructure construction, (preferable fibre installation)
- Working knowledge of processes, systems and industry standards relevant to installation of fibre (e.g., SROH, NRSWA, BTOR PIA)
- Demonstrable knowledge of the construction process, (from planning, noticing, permitting, design and on-site works)
- The ability to collaborate, motivate and educate
