We’re recruiting an Engineering Shift Technician to join our London Thamesport team.

This essential role provides site support for business-critical vessel operations. Completing maintenance activities on the port's cranes and associated assets, the Engineering Shift Technician liaises with other members of the wider port team to deliver to a high standard. They also ensure all onsite activities are safely managed, controlling the status of the engineering permit to work systems. 

The successful candidate will have suitable mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications, as well as operational licences, suitably assured in driving for all engineering plant, required to complete service and repairs, Mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP’s). The ability to cope with fast changing work priorities is essential, as well as being able to prioritise on several concurrent work activities.
