Role Purpose

Be a comprehensive Product Manager with a strong technical background and experience in Financial Market Data products and/or APIs.

You will be able to carry out user and product research, think strategically and have a commercial focus to drive results and eliminate roadblocks.

Experience working with global or multi-regional teams would be beneficial as you will engage with overseas teams and clients sometimes outside of standard business hours. You will be able to simultaneously manage multiple deadlines across geographically distributed teams.

You will be a strong communicator in both written and verbal formats and be confident to carry out presentations at Senior levels.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...

  • Demonstrate deep product expertise through the use of a broad range of Product Management techniques to analyse market and competitive conditions, perform client and user research and to develop strong product visions and roadmaps, in line with Iress’ culture and ways of working.

  • Work closely with Business Analysts, software, network and site reliability engineers to ensure that problem statements and product definition are complete and that teams are clear on how to translate vision into delightful solutions.

  • Ensures that product strategy aligns with Iress' overall strategy and that roadmaps clearly support business goals.

  • Manage aspects of cross-team dependencies (within and beyond Product teams) to keep track of key projects and deliveries from inception to production.

  • Critically assess product ideas requests globally and manage Commercial and Client teams expectations.

  • Ensures that Iress market data product strategy is clearly communicated across Iress and that stakeholders are engaged, understanding of defined priorities and delivery timelines.

  • Develops effective Go To Market strategies and effectively executes.

  • Ensure product backlogs are regularly groomed and that the backlog accurately reflects current status.

  • Generates and maintains dashboards and reports that track product health and success metrics
