Role Purpose

We are seeking professionals or up and coming talented Engineers who have an interest in dynamic languages, current and emerging web standards and web application architecture.

You will be working out new and existing features within our award-winning financial planning and wealth management software.

Accountabilities & Deliverables

  • Contribute to the design and development of software components within an agreed timeframe and defined quality standard.

  • Resolve issues, defects and queries raised at any phase of development or production in a timely and professional manner.

  • Conduct quality reviews of own deliverables and deliverables from peers and junior members of the development community.

  • Provide estimates on technical development tasks.

  • Report progress regularly, escalating matters as appropriate.

  • Mentor and coach more junior members of staff.

  • Support the client.

  • Build relevant product market knowledge

Core Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

You will have worked with Agile Methodologies with experience in Python, HTML, CSS and Javascript and experience in SQL/ Postgres and Cloud Technologies would be advantageous.

The role requires someone with good time management skills and to be able to take ownership of own workload to meet deadlines. You will be liaising with both internal and external contacts so good written and verbal communication skills are required.
