Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced B2B Marketing Lead to play a critical role in supporting Iress’ overall growth objectives working very closely with our Wealth business. As part of our Global Communications and Marketing Team, you will provide strategic and execution support to key stakeholders. With the support of a Marketing Manager, you will drive efficiency and use best practice to generate awareness and leads for the Commercial Team. Your focus will be to generate quality, sustainable revenue through a range of marketing initiatives to help client retention and win new business.

You will have extensive experience in driving results across both traditional marketing channels and across the entire marketing mix (online and offline). This is an exciting opportunity for you to make your mark and help us make a step-change in our marketing effectiveness and drive consistency in our approach.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded Marketer with strong strategic capabilities and a background predominantly within the Finance/Insurance sector. You will be confident in generating ideas for revenue growth with new and existing customers within the Wealth sector.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for developing and launching a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy across all channels to accelerate growth within the UK to support Iress’ growth aspiration

  • Drive performance marketing creating high value opportunities for the Commercial Team to follow up

  • Work with the Global Marketing Team to execute the campaigns and review ROI

  • Liaise with the Content Marketing Team to layout and execute a comprehensive content strategy to assist with new business and retention

  • Providing expert counsel and advice to business leaders on marketing and communications

  • Review, present and analyse current performance of campaigns

  • Continuously identify opportunities for revenue generation

  • Driving the data and segmentation approach across the UK market

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams locally and globally across the business

  • Direct leadership, guidance, direction and performance management of a Marketing Manager

What you will need

  • Strong knowledge and aptitude for B2B acquisition and growth (online and offline) - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate environment and B2B marketing

  • Solid experience in planning and executing brand and marketing activities, ideally within the Financial Services industry and a strong track record in marketing management with demonstrated results in marketing ROI

  • Experience delivering integrated, outcome-focused demand generation across a wide range of marketing channels

  • Strong knowledge and aptitude for digital marketing

  • Strong understanding of data analytics to guide decision making

  • Hubspot experience (Preferred)

  • GA4 experience (Preferred)

  • The ability to coach team members on best practice ways of working

  • Qualifications in marketing, digital marketing, communications or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • The ability to achieve results, deliver multiple projects under pressure and continually strive for excellence

  • The ability to think creatively about projects and tasks presented
