Role Purpose

We are currently looking for a driven and proactive Account Manager to be responsible for generating and increasing transactional volume and revenue by cultivating clients with some of our key products - The Exchange, Trigold and Xplan Mortgage.

Working closely with the Head of Business Development, Training Consultants and Business Development Managers, you’ll manage and nurture the relationships of a high volume of Sourcing clients in order to increase transactional volume and upsell Sourcing solutions. You will be a natural at building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the client sees Iress as a strategic partner essential to the growth of their business.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Managing accounts to ensure both parties deliver on their contractual commitments, build a mutually beneficial, sustainable relationship and ensure new opportunities are exploited

  • Lead the development, implementation and adoption of the full suite of sourcing products including Mortgage and Protection products

  • Support the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions

  • Clearly articulate adoption issues and assist in identifying solutions for overcoming these

  • Ability to identify potential additional revenue opportunities

  • Act as an ambassador for the company in meetings and communications with clients

  • Support our Marketing team with outbound calls to clients in order to generate registrations for Iress events and contact clients following the events to follow up

To be successful in this role…

  • Core experience working within financial services (ideally Life Insurance or Mortgages) in an equivalent sales or account management role

  • An understanding of IFA practices and technology requirements as well as trends and issues

  • Willingness to travel - this position will require you to attend events and visit clients nationwide

  • Excellent communication and verbal presentation skills

  • Client focused with strong influencing and negotiation skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Self-motivated with evidence of developing great working relationships with clients/prospects

  • Ability to achieve results and work in a constantly changing environment

  • Organised and methodical in your approach

  • Awareness of Iress’ competitors and their service offerings
