Dashboard and Reporting Services (DRS) is critical space for the firm that focusses on building products for data access and reporting use cases for multiple LOBs including Finance, Risk, Compliance and more. With the firm’s focus on strategic and modern initiatives, DRS plays a vital role in building in house products that provide more flexibility and control over the roadmap that’s focused on modernization and various strategic initiatives, thus also avoiding vendor lock-in. The space is driven by talented technologists and software engineers who are blue sky thinkers and have a passion for solving unfamiliar complex problems across multiple stacks.
The role involves:
- Owning and driving architecture of all products and features developed in this space
- Collaborating with multiple cross functional and architect teams across the firm in-order to be aligned with the firm’s strategy and be able to navigate as well as influence the technical decisions
- Collaborating with the Product owner and Delivery Leads for end-to-end delivery of the products for all stages of SDLC
- To promote a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration by leading by example
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in complex software problem solving
- Demonstrates technical leadership
- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
