Reporting To: Head of International Consumer Bank Sourcing

JPMorgan Chase seeks to do business with suppliers who provide the best price, quality and capability to meet our business needs. With over 600 team members in 11 countries, our Global Supplier Services (GSS) organization works proactively with line of business colleagues to identify capable suppliers, lead the competitive sourcing process and negotiate and contract with the chosen suppliers. Leveraging firm-wide buying power and controlling risk are consistent overarching goals. GSS then ensures that the contracted goods and services can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, cost-effective manner globally.

This Sourcing Associate role requires a professional with excellent analytical skills and prior project management experience. They should be able to liaise with stakeholders at various levels. They will be able to understand contract structures and negotiate key terms.

This role will support the Technology and Non technology requirements of International Consumer Bank as it expands operations in the UK and other parts of the world.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understand contract hierarchies and locate all agreements relevant to a contract at JPMC’s contract database
  • Oversee and facilitate contract remediation activities
  • Track engagements/contracts requiring remediation on a daily basis identifying and trouble-shooting issues relating to contract remediation
  • Maintain reports including pipeline, in-flight and completed contract remediation on a daily basis
  • Collect and aggregate data from different sources ensuring data integrity
  • Provide key performance metrics relating to contract remediation and produce weekly reports on key metrics for Senior Management
  • Work with LOB clients and stakeholders to confirm requirements for sourcing involvement
  • Partner with JPMC legal, risk and finance teams towards the successful completion of intricate negotiations and initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines

  • Work with clients and other stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Manage vendor and internal enquiries to ensure queries are resolved and responded to within a timeframe and manner sensitive to the urgency of the event. Escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to manage own workload and report on progress in a pro-active and timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines at all times

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint paramount
  • Strong project management skills
  • Legal Acumen: understanding of contracts and how they are structured
  • Contract negotiations experience desirable
