Market Data Services is the firm wide team responsible for all aspects of market data delivery to all lines of business including vendor and financial management, engineering and development, connectivity, risk and control, and product support. We provide consultancy to development teams on how to build high performance applications using market data to help manage risk, discover and exploit trading opportunities.

We have an open vacancy in our Patent Pending Digital Rights Management development team for an experienced Full Stack Python developer looking to push new technologies and ideas to the next level.

Successful Candidate:

  • Will be part of the high-caliber Agile development team with multiple patents pending
  • Must be curious, hardworking and detail-oriented, motivated by complex analytical problems
  • Has to demonstrate experience in financial markets, and have ability to communicate directly with the business users
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Digital Rights
  • Should be able to work individually or as part of a global team to achieve project goals
  • Will interact closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers and customer teams
  • Will be responsible for full lifecycle: Coding, Compiling, Unit testing, Integration, packaging and deployment of application software
  • Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and Agile development practice
  • Be comfortable mentoring junior team members

Required Experience and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Python and Flask
  • Java and JavaScript with React experience also a definite advantage
  • Excellent understanding in data persistence paradigms
  • Experience of ElasticSearch Databases or other No SQL equivalents
  • Experience of Oracle Graph technologies
  • Be familiar with the ODRL and W3 standards
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Automated testing and mocking techniques
  • Experience creating and consuming REST services
  • Internal GAIA and/or AWS cloud experience
  • Agile development experience
