Department Description

Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) is a change delivery organisation within the CIB’s Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) that provides integrated change, testing and implementation support to CIB stakeholders. CPCS capabilities include end-to-end test management and automation, business analysis, data analytics and program management, which are tailored to enable strategic initiatives in the Wholesale Payments, Markets and Securities Services businesses, as well as cross-business functions such as Network Management and Client Onboarding (Client Tax & WKO).

Role Description

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President to provide Program management for the Securities Services LOB; in a cross business, cross functional project based environment. Flexibility to provide project management experience on other LOB’s and support transformational Global initiatives within Cross Product Change Services. The role provides opportunities to work on projects across the business. Additionally, successful candidates will be involved in initiatives focused on accelerating DPS’s platform project priorities. There will be significant exposure & visibility to senior management. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals with advanced problem solving and communications skills.

The role will require working with stakeholders across the CIB, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Lateral contacts in business, technology, middle offices, product and client facing organizations firm wide would need to be developed and mined for best practices and for driving outcomes.


This role is for a Program Manager to Manage E2E Testing Environments from a CPCS/Environment usage perspective. The role involves the following tasks.

  1. Program Investment Proposal & Financials
    1. IP Strategy & Business Case Prep.
    2. Review existing program / Financials
    3. Hold Meetings & Draw up 2023 Objectives, Investment Proposals
    4. Present to SteerCo for review and approval
    5. Update Strategy & Business Case based on feedback
    6. Update / Submit to Portfolio Management
    7. Prepare 2023 Investment Summary for review at Sept Conference
    8. Final approval will be provided in Sept after Conf
    9. Manage Program Financials through the year, track actuals to forecast/plan.

      3. Submit Final SteerCo deck to SteerCo audience
      4. Chair SteerCo & Note down actions / decision / outcomes and publish MoM
    4. E2E Communication Newsletter
      1. Consolidate and publish Quarterly newsletter with key highlights for E2E Environment stakeholders.

Functional and Technical Expertise

  • Experienced in Environment Management used for Testing, knowledge of toolset to facilitate environment usage. (Booking, Monitoring, Ticketing, Governance)
  • Understanding of Test Automation, regression capabilities with fingerprinting and other technologies.
  • Tech Background and understanding of the Development Lifecycle followed by AD. (Code Deployments, SIT, UAT, Prod Parallel)
  • Understanding of the Testing lifecycle and Testing windows.
  • Understanding of key metrics in Env management (Downtime, System Availability, Health checks, Usage)
  • Deep project management experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple LOB’s delivering in a highly complex and high volume environment.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision on day-to-day activities.
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to take strategic direction and independently develop and manage project plan, taking full accountability and ownership.
  • Functional knowledge of Securities Services business areas.
  • Working knowledge on data visualization and user tools like Tableau, Alteryx, QlickView, Xceptor, etc.
  • Working knowledge of API, SQL, Metadata and Big data would be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of Data Masking, Data Refresh and UI monitoring.

  • Bachelor’s degree (with relevant experience) preferred.
  • Project / Agile methodology qualification – preferred.
  • Has worked in a CIB business function like Global Markets, Middle Office, Wholesale Payments or Security Services.
  • Testing experience required.
  • Agile methodology skills required.
  • Test Automation skills required.
  • Experienced Program lead, cross location team leadership – required.
